I don't know how much each one serves, but that sounds reasonable to me considering they throw in a nice little bamboo box that can serve as a desk ornament in the future. Didn't say it was the best tea ever or anything, but it has a great variety and doesn't look like a cheap plastic box lying on the counter.
Personally, I hate hot drinks. Bought this for my mother's birthday as she drinks tons of hot tea.
She loves it. Only when it rarely hits 20-30 degrees do I even try one.
My mother loves them and raves about their benefits (yada, yada, yada).so I got this set for her. As to the price.less than $0.50 per individual package.
My money was well spent.
It's junk. If you're buying this as a gift, I'd suggest a nice tea pot and some loose leaf tea. If you want good tea, forget the box. Get English PG-Tips, Typhoo or Chinese or Japanese black or green teas or just a good old cup of Lipton. I drink tea nearly every waking moment and have tried this box of tea - someone else bought it. Glad it wasn't me.
This item had great reviews when I decided to purchase it, but hey, it's tea in a box, right. The bamboo box is really nice and the tea is delicious. I wasn't expecting much. I got a better bargain than I thought. I don't know if I would splurge for the $28 original cost, but I got a great deal when it was in their Grocery Deals in April 2009.If it goes on sale again, I will definitely purchase it again. This would be a great gift for any tea lover.
Lovely Item, bought as a gift for my tea-loving Mother in Law. Packaging is gorgeous-the box is a work of art alone. The tea is also wonderful.
I have had these teas before. And the presentation in a bamboo box, used in days of yore for preservation, this makes a very nice Christmas, or holiday gift.
